How long does it take?
The timeline goes into the plan after discovery, once your project's details are on the table. That's where we refine the scope and list the requirements, and some depend on material that comes from you: images, copy and access.
The agreed timeline accounts for those requirements and the approval round, and you follow the progress through a link during the build.
Do I need to write the copy?
Not necessarily. You hand me the idea, I write the first draft, and we refine it until it sounds like you.
The first conversation surfaces almost everything, and whatever's missing I ask about by email. If you'd rather write it yourself, that works too: I shape your text for the page.
What if I have no photos of my work?
We solve it with licensed stock imagery, illustration and other visual assets, chosen to match your brand. The page looks professional from the first version, and your photos drop in later, once you have them.
Is the domain mine? How much is it?
Yes, yours, registered in your name. Registration runs about $20 a year, paid directly to the registrar. My fee covers the project, and I take care of the whole setup for you.
After launch, how does it work?
You get the accounts, and the site stays in your name, with documentation of everything delivered.
The revision round is part of the project and happens before launch. After your acceptance, each new request comes in as maintenance: $100 an hour, as needed or in a package.
Do you also build online stores?
I do, under the Custom plan, because the scope follows your operation: catalog size, inventory control and how you take payment.
When a ready-made platform covers it, I set it up on your domain. When your operation needs more, I build the store from scratch, with the scope in writing before we start.
Why work with me?
You talk to one person from the first day to the last, and she knows your whole project. The path comes before the site: first we define what the page needs to solve, then I build it.
